CINCH IT IN - THE CORSET BELT

FASHIONISTAS.....I’m loving this corset belt! Nothing beats an accessory that is both flattering and functional! No need for a girdle to create that hourglass shape. Create instant curves, and hide flaws, with this hot piece. Can’t afford the hefty $6,195.00 price tag, like the one J. Lo & Naomi are sporting.....No problem...You can get yours at BeBe. It’s a more reasonable alternative that doesn’t sacrifice the sexy!

Jennifer Lopez shows us that you don’t have to wear a long shiny slinky sequined number to pull this off…nor do you have to wear a short slinky number. Add the belt to jeans and a tank for everyday glam on the block!

Go for belts that add interest to your outfit. This belt is my pick for adding instant va va voom to an otherwise drab outfit.

You don't have to purchase the first item you find. There are plenty of wonderful finds out there....just take your time.

They key to looking fabulous for less is about being creative with the resources you have. Be a trendsetter and not a follower. You can dictate your own style.

SPRING WARDROBE

Oh my...it's beginning to look a lot like Spring Time. Before you know it, the flowers will be blooming, the birds will be serenading, and unfortunately your closet will still feel like it's stuck with the winter blues. Spring cleaning is a process that allows us to freshen up our homes and get a head start on the hectic seasons of spring and summer. A big part of spring cleaning is airing out the old and ushering in the new and fresh. Clear out those closets, put away winter wear and make room for summer dresses and beautifully crafted sandals.

Is your closet filled with unmatched or out-of-style clothing that just doesn't fit your personality? For those who are going through significant life changes (for example, a divorce, a new career, significant weight loss/gain, new mother or cosmetic surgery), a wardrobe and style assessment can be a liberating and enjoyable experience. I can help you achieve an attractive look that is wearable, chic and current. These are good reasons to analyze your wardrobe. The path to a Fantabulous wardrobe entails sorting through the clutter to discover what works best for you.

If you feel like you have a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear, you're not alone. The garments hanging in your closet represent an investment of several thousand dollars. Studies have shown that only twenty-percent of an individual's wardrobe is purchased wisely the remaining eighty to ninety-percent of a closet represents a waste of money. This statistic doesn't have to describe you. In three easy steps, I can help you organize your wardrobe and get you on your way to making garment selections that suit your style and personality. This will save you time, energy, and money — and more importantly you will always look great!

Contact me at delilah@imageessentialsllc.com to schedule your wardrobe assessments now. Don't get lost in the clutter of unwearable and outdated clothing. EVERYTHING a Fashionista wears must be congruent with her lifestyle and character....it's starts with getting your wardrobe in order now.

Out with the old and in with the new.....Be Fantabulous

THE ART OF FASHION

"THE BIRTHDAY GIRL'S DAY OF FASHION AND ART"

Can you imagine drowning in a sea of beautiful organza, taffeta, fine silks, as well as, a multitude of colors, textures and patterns. That is exactly what I did on my Divalicious Birthday...I drowned in oodles and oodles of lovely evening gowns and flouncy dresses by providing my Image Management assistance to the Ivy Educational & Charitable Foundation (IEACF) of Houston's 27th Annual Scholarship Fashion Show. The purpose of the (IEACF) is to raise and distribute funds for charitable, educational and scientific projects, and to provide financial assistance to deserving high school seniors and college students so that they may achieve career objectives. The Luncheon & Fashion Show has made a big impact in the lives of many individuals in the community.

The show was held at the beautiful
Hilton Americas Hotel in downtown Houston. As I weaved through the maze of beautiful dresses and evening gowns, I remember thinking to myself, "Oh what a wonderful way to celebrate my birthday...Happy Birthday To Me."

There were many notable individuals, vendors and socialites in attendance...far too many to name them all. There was one person in particular that I do want to highlight and that's the legendary
Prima Ballerina Lauren Anderson. Lauren Anderson is the first African American principle ballerina. I don't have to tell you all how honored I was to meet this beautiful trailblazer.

Houston has some wonderful specialty boutiques.....Some of the vendors who provided their clothing were
Melodrama Boutique, High Society Boutique, Holy Ghost Girls Boutique, Langford Market & Custom Men's Clothiers. If you have the opportunity I would admonish you to visit their shops. You will not be disappointed.

A special thanks goes out to Mr. Barry Barnes of
Great Day Houston for making this opportunity possible. All in all, it was a Fantabulous event filled with beauty. What a way for a FASHIONISTA to spend a birthday. Happy Birthday To Me....
